Who we are
Philip Elliott has more than 30 years’ experience in the field of credit control and debt management for companies and small businesses.
Born in Nottingham, he worked in London, West Midlands and around the UK before returning to the city work set up the debt recovery department at Nelson’s, a leading Nottingham solicitors, expanding the team to 11 and broadening the client range to national and international clients.
In 2013, he set up Philip Elliott Associates in the city centre, specializing in commercial debt recovery and subsequently expanding into credit control and legal services.
A member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management, Philip is well-known in the business community in Nottingham and has developed a wide network of contacts in accountancy, legal services, credit control and insolvency.
Outside the business, he is a director of Nottingham Credit Union, a charity, and works with Nottingham Catholic Diocese on school appeals panels. He is also involved with both universities in the city and is part of Nottingham Trent University’s mentoring scheme for students in law and business.
Robyn Baxter joined Philip Elliott Associates as a paralegal after graduating in law from Nottingham Trent University in 2015 and provides legal advice to clients on a range of issues.
